PRE-GO! HISTORY
Near the end of her first year of high school, Nakashima Yumi decided it was finally time to start a band. She gathered four other girls (Hamada Akiko among them), and together they formed Jellyfish, a JUDY AND MARY copy band. They practiced twice a week, and even held live performances with other bands. But when they graduated, three of the girls had had enough fun, and only Yumi and Akiko wanted to continue. Luckily, in junior college they met "a boy who played drums" in their same year and invited him to be in a band with them. And in 1999, Yuu, Akko, and Turkey formed GO!GO! 7188.
